How Superbill Automation actually Works:
Once a visit with a patient has been completed, I go to that particular patient, Superbill section, and I will see the automated superbill which is ready and is able to be downloaded. (It is downloaded in PDF).
When a visit is completed, you go to a particular patient , Superbill section, and are able to see status ready on superbill, but also, in that Superbill section section, you find if Superbill automation is turned on or off, and with which cadence, as information.
The superbill automation can be turned off for a particular visit by disabling the automation option when creating the visit.
Automation can fail for various reasons - for example a visit that does not have the diagnosis- and if that is the case the provider can either retry the failed superbills or make them manually.
