How to complete assigned workflow tasks

Your provider may assign tasks to you through a workflow — for example, an intake form before your first visit, a daily symptom log, or a follow-up survey after a procedure. Here is how to find and complete those tasks in MediSprout.

Finding your assigned tasks

When a task is assigned to you, you will get a notification by email and inside the MediSprout app. From the main menu, select My tasks. A badge shows the number of tasks waiting on you.

Completing a task

  1. Open the task. You will see the title, the assigning provider's name, the instructions, and the due date.
  2. Follow the instructions. A task can include: filling in a form, uploading a document, watching a short video, signing a consent, or confirming you have completed a step (for example, picked up a prescription).
  3. Select Submit when you are finished. Some tasks save your progress so you can come back later — select Save and continue.
  4. Once submitted, the task moves to Completed and your provider is notified.

If you can't complete a task

If you have a question about a task, send a message to your provider directly from the task screen. If you can't meet the due date, ask your provider to extend it so the workflow stays on track.

Where to see workflow progress

From the main menu, select My records and then Workflows to see all current and past workflows assigned to you, including the status of each task.
