How to complete assigned workflow tasks
Occasionally, your provider may assign tasks for you to complete through a MediSprout workflow. Sample tasks include completing an intake form before your first visit, keeping a daily symptom log, or taking a follow-up survey after a procedure. Here is how to find and complete tasks in MediSprout.
Finding your assigned tasks
When a task is assigned, you will receive a notification by email. The assigned task will also be available inside the MediSprout app. From the main menu, select My tasks. A badge shows the number of tasks assigned to you.
Completing a task
- Open a task. You will see the title, the assigning provider's name, the instructions, and the due date.
- Follow the instructions. Additional tasks may also include such things as uploading a document, watching a short video, signing a consent form, or confirming that you have completed a step such as picking up a prescription.
- Select Submit when you are finished with the task. Some tasks save your progress so you can come back and finish later, in which case you can select Save and continue.
- Once submitted, the task moves to Completed and your provider will be notified.
If you have questions about a task
If you have a question about a task, send a message to your provider directly from the task screen. If you can't meet the due date, ask your provider to extend it so the workflow stays on track.
Where to see workflow progress
From the main menu, select My records and then Workflows to see all current and past workflow tasks assigned to you, including the status of each task.
