How to view and obtain the chat transcription from video visits
This article explains how providers and patients can view and download the chat transcriptions that MediSprout automatically generates after a video visit is completed.
During a video visit, the chat function allows the provider and the patient to exchange messages with each other. When the visit is completed, MediSprout creates a transcription of that chat and stores it automatically in the patient’s details.
Transcriptions of all chat messages are available for patients to read or obtain as part of their medical records.
For patients, from the MediSprout app main menu, select Visits and then My past visits. At the bottom of this page, select Visit message transcriptions to view a list of all available visit transcriptions. Select the transcription you are looking for to view and download it.
For providers, from the Visits dropdown menu, select Past visits. At the bottom of the page, look for Visit message transcription. Select a chat message transcription to view or download it.
