How to walk through the tool tips
MediSprout includes interactive tool tips that introduce you to each part of the platform the first time you sign in. You can also relaunch them at any time — useful as a refresher, after a feature update, or when you are training a new team member.
When tool tips appear automatically
The first time you sign in to MediSprout — or the first time you open a section like the Calendar, Workflows, or Superbills — a short tour will appear over the screen, pointing at key buttons and explaining what each one does. Select Next to advance, Previous to step back, or Skip to dismiss the tour.
How to relaunch the tool tips at any time
- From any screen, look for the Help icon in the top-right corner (a question-mark icon).
- Select Help, then choose Show tool tips for this page.
- The tour for the current page restarts from the beginning.
Resetting all tool tips
If you want to see every tool tip again across all of MediSprout — for example, after a major release — reset them from your settings.
- From the main menu, select Profile and then Settings.
- Under Preferences, find Tool tips and select Reset to default.
- Sign out and back in. The tool tips will run again on each page you visit.
Different tours for different roles
The tool tips you see depend on your role. Providers and admins see tours for the calendar, workflows, superbills, and admin settings. Patients see tours for My records, Schedule a visit, My tasks, and Billing. Schedulers and billers see only the tours relevant to their permissions.
