Here’s how to test the audio and video ahead of video visits

High-quality video visits on the MediSprout platform are built for ease of use for both you and your patients. Still, as a new user, it may be helpful to run through a few pre-checks before initial video visits to help you gain familiarity with the MediSprout video player and to ensure that your first visits go smoothly.  

Go to the Help section under Settings in the MediSprout platform. Then select Test your device. In the future, start here to access directions about testing your device and for other best practices for high-quality video visits. 

Press the Get Started button. 

Allow permissions for MediSprout to access your camera and audio.

Check your video. Seeing a good picture? Select Yes or SKIP FOR NOW.

Now, test your audio. Do you see your voice register?  Select Yes or SKIP FOR NOW.

Check your browser. If MediSprout likes your browser, select Ok. 

Check connection. Are the Twilo servers happy? Select Ok.

The MediSprout platform keeps the results of each test. You can access and download test results for each test for your records, or for sharing with the MediSprout 24/7 support team in case you do run into issues. 

Want to test again? Select Restart test.
