What's new in version 1.4.0 of the MyPractice Assistant app
The MyPractice Assistant app, version 1.4.0, adds a new My Information screen for managing personal account details, in-app account verification and password reset, refined calendar search and filters, and clearer sign-in messaging. This article covers what changed and how to use each new feature.
My Information — personal account details
A new My Information screen lets you view and manage your personal account information directly from the app. This is separate from the professional profile fields (specialty, post-nominal title) introduced in version 1.3.0. Think of it as where your account-level details live, alongside your professional details.
Account verification and password reset
The app now supports account verification and password reset directly through in-app deep links, so you can confirm your account or set a new password without leaving the app or hunting for a browser link.
Calendar filters — search and display refinements
The calendar's Personnel and Patient filters have been improved:
- Salutations and pronouns have been removed from patient and provider names, for a cleaner list.
- The Assigned to me option is now shown only to users with a provider role.
- The All patients option has been removed from the patient filter.
- The Personnel and Patient sections now show email addresses and support searching by email.
See How to use the mobile calendar — Android / iOS for the full calendar article.
Clearer sign-in messaging
If a non-provider account attempts to sign in to MyPractice Assistant, the app now shows clear, user-friendly guidance instead of a generic error message, helping people find the right MediSprout app faster.
