For new patients, a five-step onboarding guide
Welcome to MediSprout. This five-step guide walks you through everything you need to do the first time you sign in so you can start booking visits, messaging your provider, and managing your health information.
Before you begin
Make sure you have downloaded the MyMedi Health app on your phone, or that you can sign in to MediSprout from a supported browser on your laptop or computer. If you are not sure, see Browsers and devices compatible with MediSprout.
Step 1 — Sign in and verify your email
Open the app or web page and select Sign in. Enter the email address and temporary password from your invitation email, then follow the prompts to set a new password. If two-factor authentication is enabled for your provider's practice, you will be asked to verify your identity with a code sent by text or email.
Step 2 — Complete your personal information
From the main menu, select Profile. Fill in your legal name, date of birth, gender, preferred pronouns, phone number, and home address. Add an emergency contact and your preferred pharmacy. You can edit any of this at any time. If you need to add a government ID, see How to add your driver's license to your personal information.
Step 3 — Complete your medical history form
From the main menu, select My records and then Medical history. Answer the questions about current medications, allergies, past conditions, surgeries, and family history. Save your changes. This information is shared only with the providers you connect with and is HIPAA-protected.
Step 4 — Add a payment method
If your provider charges for visits, select Billing from the main menu and add a card, bank account, or insurance information. Payment details are stored securely by Stripe and are never shared with your provider's office staff.
Step 5 — Schedule your first visit
From the main menu, select Schedule a visit. Pick your provider, choose an available date and time, and confirm. You will receive a confirmation email and an in-app reminder before the visit.
What happens next
After onboarding, your provider may assign workflow tasks — for example, intake forms or a pre-visit questionnaire — that appear under My tasks. See How to complete assigned workflow tasks.
