How to join a video visit as a patient.

After a provider schedules a video visit for you, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided. The email will include the date and time of your appointment set to your time zone. (To check your time zone setting, go to My information, and then Settings. Edit time zone information or any other personal information displayed.)

Tap the button in the email that reads, View your video visit details. Then sign in to your MediSprout account to see visit details. 

You can also sign in directly from the MediSprout app on your mobile or desktop devices. Select My upcoming visits to find your appointment.

When you’re ready to join the visit, select Join Video Visit.

The first time you join, review the Consent and Emergency Contact information and select Accept each. 

The app will ask for your permission to use your camera and microphone for the visit. Select Allow (if displayed) for each. You may also need to check your browser or in app settings to be sure both camera and audio are enabled. 

You will now see the provider and your visit is underway. If the provider has not yet joined the visit, you will see the Waiting Room screen. The provider will join when ready.
